Continuing Professional Development is an important part of the work of School Sports Partnerships. Every PLT (Primary Link Teacher) and SSCo (School Sports Co-ordinator) can access a range of development opportunities, whether specific modules that relate to Partnership roles and work, or sports and PE specific courses (such as TOPs, NGB sports coaching and Coaching for Teachers qualifications) that enable all to improve their ability to deliver high quality PE and sport and gain further qualifications in the process.
Check the pages on TOPs and PLT Modules for more information of what's involved in these courses and website calendar for dates of courses being run. If you are not sure of what's on offer contact the PDM for your Partnership - details on Contacts page.
TOPs are short practical courses for primary teachers, teaching assistants, PE co-ordinators, Primary Link Teachers, community sports coaches and parent volunteers who want to improve their delivery of a range of sports and related activities.
This pack provides contains the aims, objectives and outcomes for the workshops which are available to London SSCos. Please note that the workshops are subject to a final edit before production so these details should be treated as a final working draft.
