PE and Sport Conference
Looking Beyond Physical Activity

We are delighted to invite PE Co-Ordinators/Leads to the Annual Primary PE Conference of all Sutton and Croydon schools on Wednesday 16th March 2022 at Coombe Wood School, Croydon.
This year's Conference looks beyond the physical benefits of PE and School Sport and concentrates on the softer skills associated with the subject such as resilience, collaboration, empathy, confidence and self-esteem, all which have been affected by the lack of participation, social contacts and general isolation due to the pandemic.
With this in mind, we are aiming to bring you a selection of workshops and speakers, both practical and theory, to highlight how you can use different, but accessible forms of Physical Activity to help rebuild and develop these skills, both in Physical Education and across the curriculum.
A hot lunch and all refreshments are included. The conference is suitable for all teachers, head teachers, governors as well as any other staff involved in the delivery of physical activity at your school.
