A Virtual Golf Competition for Reception & Years 1–6

Represent your school to become Croydon Schools Golf Champions! Read on, this page contains all the information you need to participate in this competition.

When will this competition take place?

The competition will run from Monday 15th June - Friday 19th June 2020.

What age groups can participate?

We aim to be running a separate competition for:

Year R/1/2 Boys & Girls

Year 3/4 Boys & Girls

Year 5/6 Boys & Girls

What challenges are there to complete & how many do I have to do?

There are 5 individual challenges for you to try plus a Golf Values (Skills For Life) section to complete, if you wish to. You are welcome to try all of them but you can also choose the one/ones you prefer. Ideally we would like you to do at least 1 a day.

You can do all the challenges at home, at school (if you’re back) or outside. Make sure you always think about safety first, so please check with your parents/carers/teachers where a suitable space for you to attempt each challenge would be.

How do I submit my results?

Each challenge has its own link just next to it where you can submit your results. Please make sure you use the correct link!

You will be asked to input your first name and the initial of your surname, class, year group and school as well as your result. This is so your teachers can identify you. Although the results link is secure, we ask that you do NOT put any personal contact information when you submit your results. Please ask your parent/carer/teacher to submit your results on your behalf if you're unsure on what to do.

The deadline to submit your results is 10pm on Friday 19th June 2020.

Are there any prizes?

We will be awarding the winning school the title of Croydon Primary Schools Virtual Golf Champions! Due to the current conditions there are no physical prizes but we will be sending a certificate for your school to pass on to you or present to you when you return. We will also be awarding a few special awards.
